Jess Campbell is the founder of Out in the Boons - a small shop helping nonprofits to raise more money online and in person. After fundraising in-house for over a decade - Jess pivoted to supporting nonprofit leaders to find their fundraising bff and find the fun in asking for money. When she's not thinking, teaching, talking or asking for money - she enjoys popping in a podcast and taking her rescue pup Billy for a long walk, reading stories with her 5 year old and cooking for her family. In this episode, Jess talks about the ins and outs of raising money for nonprofits through fundraising. She also touches on the importance of 'how' as opposed to 'why' when educating startups and small businesses on raising more revenue and creating that space of marketing and influence.
