Humanity bears the image of God. Not just one of us, but all of us. You have never looked into the eyes of someone who did not bear the image of God. Every nation in creation shares this image-bearing mark. This is a core, foundational belief for people of faith. However, this understanding creates some complexity. When it comes to disagreements, politics and even military conflict and war, we easily forget the people on the other side are made in the image of God. So, let’s look at what the scriptures say, and then take a look at five postures that are necessary and Godly as people of faith.
