In a village , once their lived two friends Sohan and Mohan . Sohan is little more religious and Mohan is hardworking . They both together bought an land as to grow weat and rice and by selling they to build their own house . Sohan use to give most of his time on growing crops but Mohan doesn't perform any activity and only pray to god for growing of crops . Time passes away . Finally crops has been grown and they together sell the crop and earn a decent amout of profit . While coming back from the market . Sohan said to Mohan that . I will get the greater share of earned money as I does the most of hardwork . Sohan said No I will be liable to get larger share of earned money as I pray to god and without the blessings of God nothing is possible . An argument started on this between them and they didn't reach to any conclusion . Finally they both reach to the sarpanch of the village and tell all the story . Sarpanch gave them a bag of rice and said they both have to seperate stones from the rice and come back to him next morning . They both carry their bag of rice . Sohan whole night separate the stones from rice but Mohan take that bag to temple withhimself and started praying to God for this . Next morning Sohan give rice to sarpanch after separating stone but sarpanch got happy and praised Sohan for his hardwork but Mohan come with same bag . Thinking of that all the stones will automatically got separated as he prays well . But unfortunately nothing is like that . Sarpanch told to Mohan god only helps those persons who helps themselves and larger part of earned money goes to Sohan . After this incident Mohan also started working hard in the farm and this year they got greater profit than last year .
