Our time with Steve flew by while we were recording this. We could of continued on for hours. There is such a blessing in being in community with your elders (literally an elder in this case). We learn from their wisdom through life experiences, helpful tips/tricks and so much more.  In this episode Steve does an incredible job of giving us some of the more intricute details of the eldership at Rising Sun. We discuss of the elder board works, how elders are suggested and then selected and the roation of board responsibilities. All of which might seem boring on paper but is actually extremely facinating and comforting as RSCC members.  Steve also shares a little bit of his personal story and how through the heartache of losing his wife, God provided another partner in an unexpected way.
