She ran for the Cook County Board of Commissioners at just 19! Her campaign gained national recognition. Even though she lost that race, Bushra decided to run again just a few short months later for the Board of Education for Skokie School District and won! At just 22, Bushra's managed to become a leader in public service, an elected official, be named one of Glamour Magazine's 2018 College Women of the year and so much more! Bushra is such a treat that you definitely don't wanna miss this episode of More Than A Pretty Face.
