Lydia McCarthy is a Brooklyn-based artist and therapist. Her
photographs and videos have been exhibited at 106 Green, Essex
Flowers, Sardine and the Scandinavia House in New York, Hidrante in
San Juan, Sports Hall Window in Helsinki and A-DASH in Athens. She has
been reviewed and published in The Washington Post, The New Yorker,
Art F City, The Wall Street Journal, Dossier and the Huffington Post.
Lydia was a Lighthouse Works Fellow in 2025 and served as an Associate
Professor of Photography at Alfred University for nine years.
