It’s a great day to be a Monroe County Middle School bulldog, just ask Dr. Efrem Yarber, principal of MCMS. His famous catchphrase is just one of the many things you’ll hear at the middle school. MP-TV spent some time with Dr. Yarber and teacher of the year, Ms. Mitchell, to learn all about the Monroe County Middle School.
It’s a big week of concerts at the Monroe County Fine Arts Center. Sunday (9/25), award-winning country singer Pam Tillis takes the stage at 6 p.m. Then Monday (9/26) the Mary Persons Chorus presents their fall concert at 7 p.m. Monroe County Middle School’s choir performs Tuesday night, and the Mary Persons band presents their fall concert on Wednesday.
