How to Gain Power & Respect in Social Settings
@shakotlokman is a communication & social dynamics expert.
But Shako wasn’t always the confident and smooth communicator you see today.
Being an immigrant moving to Australia, Shako found it hard to fit in during school.
He was socially awkward, he was always over thinking, and he didn’t know how to build deep connections with others.
While studying evolutionary biology at University, he wouldn’t pay attention to the content - he would observe in awe of how the lecturer could speak so charismatically in front of a large group of people.
How could he become a confident & charismatic communicator?
Shortly after, Shako stumbled upon the book ‘The 48 Laws of Power’ by Robert Greene - and this book changed his life!
He realised that social and internal confidence is something you can learn.
And so his quest began.
Shako became OBSESSED about mastering social dynamics and communication from that point onward.
He dropped out of Uni.
And put himself into the most uncomfortable position that he could find…
Door-to-door sales.
