Mohanad Salem was a Quran reciter from Egypt. He passed away as a martyr during protests in Rabaa Al Adawiya Square.

He primarily recited in the **Hafs ‘an Asim narration**, and also held a certification (Ijāzah) in the **Shouaba narration**. Digital Qur’anic archives feature recordings of his recitations. He was known for his **heartfelt and friendly voice**, and his recitations are described as deeply moving.

Mohanad Salem was deeply committed to seeking knowledge, memorizing the entire Holy Quran and deepening his understanding of Islamic values, readings, and rules.
