Chamber of Commerce President, Pammie Jimmar, talks with Samantha Brinkley, CEO of Rocket City HR Consulting. Samantha started her HR business with only a few file boxes traveling to businesses too small to have their own HR department. Fast forward 12 years and the company has grown to a team of 7 professionals handling everything from hiring to firing, recruiting, succession planning, HR compliance, and employee handbooks. As a woman and veteran (Air Force) business owner, Samantha sees HR as the intersection of people and business and helping organizations succeed has been a rewarding career.
