He is a familyman and father to an 18-year-old daughter, 22-year-old son, and 34-year-olddaughter. He credits his Detroit upbringing with shaping his inner resilience,resourcefulness, and ability to navigate diverse terrains.Professionally, he is a Program and Management Analyst for the Office of theComptroller of the Currency. His work primarily involves data analysis, datavisualization, and process improvement.As a public servant he has also worked for the U.S. Census Bureau, theDepartment of Commerce, and the Department of Housing and UrbanDevelopment. Prior to his federal career he spent a decade working for Fortune150 firms, like Pfizer, Morgan Stanley, and Liberty Mutual.However, his initial profession was as a high school teacher. He taughtGovernment, History, and Geography in inner city Boston and Detroit.
