Listen "Errors of the Scribes"
Episode Synopsis
It's pretty obvious that there were no photocopiers back when the New Testament was being written and compiled. That meant that people called scribes had to make new copies by hand. We know that from time to time, scribes made mistakes. Do these mistakes compromise the integrity of the Gospel? What if those mistakes were made deliberately to change the meaning? How accurate are the original manuscripts of the New Testament? That's what we'll be looking at in this episode. We'll also look at author and skeptic Bart Ehrman, and his book 'Misquoting Jesus'. Mind Made Matter is written and presented by Ken Green, and is a production of Brisbane's 96five. You can find more 96five podcasts by clicking here.
