This time of year - the holiday season - can be messy. We can begin to feel stressed about all kinds of things leading up to Christmas. And right now, as this episode is published, it’s Black Friday/ Cyber Monday weekend when every store seems to be having a sale. So shopping is on the agenda. If you’re like me, you try your best to make ethical choices when doing your shopping (gift, grocery or otherwise). It’s challenging at the best of times, expensive and near impossible at the worst. But when sale weekends roll around, how do you feel about shopping? Do you feel that purchasing at this time is unethical because it’s just buying into the consumer culture that’s so unhealthy for our planet?
