In this episode, we discuss a video put out by Right Response Ministries in which the hosts claim that it is a sin for Christians to celebrate things like Passover because this is just a shadow of a heavenly reality. But is this line of reasoning a legitimate biblical argument? Not only do we disagree with this idea, but we show how the Scriptures disagree with such an idea.If it were wrong to observe the shadows of heavenly realities, then why does Paul go to the temple in Acts 21? Why would we still practice baptism or marriage? If celebrating a picture is offensive to the thing it is a picture of then why would we celebrate wedding anniversaries, or birthdays?
