The ASX 200 is up 19 points (+0.3%) at 7523, in a narrow day of trading after yesterday's RBA announcement. Sectors are mixed with Resources and Mining doing well as results continue to trickle through. Financials having a good day up 0.8%, with The Big Bank Basket up 0.3% at $192.09. Defensive sectors taking a hit today, with Healthcare down 0.4%, Staples down 0.7% Industrials down 0.2% and Telecoms down 0.1%. Technology not doing much today after falling back down from some early gains. All Tech Index up 0.2% and Info Tech unchanged. Gold Sector up 0.5% despite a strengthening US dollar. Boral Limited (BLD) up 11.5% on a strong market update with EPS up 50%. Fortescue MetalsGroup (FMG) up 1% after signing a Mining convention for an Iron ore project in Gabon.
