Dr. Norman Poorman, a pediatric dentist from Abilene, Texas, shared his inspiring story. He and his wife Angel founded United Rescue Alliance, a nonprofit that provides disaster preparedness training and relief efforts globally. They also started a specialty coffee company, The One Cafe, which promotes transparency and fair-trade practices with Guatemalan farmers.
