"Liquidity" is the ability to easily convert an asset into cash. The Securities Act 1933 turned equity in startups from a highly liquid asset into a highly illiquid asset. With new laws, rules, and regulations starting in 2012, liquidity in startup equity is becoming increasingly liquid. It is imperative that vegan investors understand this enormous change in the playing field so that we use today's more progressive finance laws to maximize vegan outcomes.
