Listen "Reasonable Force Under The Mental Health Act 1983 Code of Practice"
Episode Synopsis
Someone contacted me today stating that they work in a hospital that has a mental health unit in it and that they are becoming increasingly concerned about the high levels of violence that are allegedly on the increase. This person stated that they have asked for more training in more restrictive techniques and equipment (handcuffs and possibly belts) but have been told they can't have them because the patients are ill and it's not their fault.
