Born S’phamandla Mhlongo on 13th June 1989, MarazA is a South African musician, producer, writer, and TV maker. His main musical forte is Hip Hop and Alternative Rap (including Electronic), although he has become known for his versatility and flexibility. He is a former battle champion, having participated in and won the Jam Alley Versus Competition, The KZN leg of the Halls BeatBox Choir, and the South African Leg of Channel O MC Africa 2, of which he was the RSA champion and came third in Africa. He has presented TV shows for Channel O (Headrush), SABC 1 and Etv, and currently presents SABC 1s GELEZA NATHI (05:00 Mon – Fri) and BONA RETSANG (16:00 Wed – Fri). He currently resides in Johannesburg South Africa, and has a new single out titled “IKESI” which features Lasta (Boss Zonke) and WTF (Nomusa). His 1st solo album is titled Smithsonian One.
