Job: speaks of how God holds our days in His hands while Elephaz presumes Job's guilt by condemning him as a bad man and that he is being punished by God as He does to bad men. Job counts his friends as worthless and waits upon God to release him from the hands of the wicked.
Matthew: Jesus, having chosen the twelve disciples, sent them out to heal and preach the kingdom of heaven to the men of Israel, to worry about nothing as God will meet all their needs and provide words for them to speak, teaching them to walk by faith and not by sight.
