The story of Nicky Weaver's Manchester City career couldn't be more of a rollercoaster. From the highs of saving penalties in the Division Two play-off final in his first season, to the lows of almost having to retire with a very serious knee injury just over three years later, Weaver's time was never dull. An experimental and career-saving operation was to follow, before he returned to first team action in 2006 - fighting to take the number one jersey back.
