There are many different options available and I want those that are interested to know the pros and cons of each program.There are 2 recognized certifications in the USA right now: the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) or the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA). These associations require you to take a 200-300 hour post-doctorate program in order to sit for their exam. Most programs only allow DCs and DVMs to enter.Investment is anywhere from $6,000-$16,0000American Veterinary Chiropractic AssociationThe AVCA's website can be located here: https://www.animalchiropractic.org/They currently accept the following programs: Parker, Options for Animals, Healing Oasis (?), ACES, Health Pioneers Institute, Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Center, Backbone AcademyOnce you have completed a program, testing information can be located here: http://avcaexam.regstep.com/The test is offered 1 time a year and is $700. International Veterinary Chiropractic AssociationThe IVCA's website can be located here: https://ivca.de/They currently accept the following programs: International Academy of Chiropractic, Backbone Academy, Options for Animals.Once you have completed a program, testing information can be located here: https://ivca.de/ivca-certification-exam/The test is offered multiple times per year and is 390 euros which is ~$436. IVCA will offer a dual certification if you have already tested for AVCA.
