We all have ugly truths about ourselves that we keep hidden from the world; out of fear, and we sometimes even try to hide these truths from ourselves. When we are able to find and cultivate true friendships, the truths we have kept hidden don’t seem so ugly any more. We are able to bring them to the light and encounter Christ’s heart for us through these friendships. What are your ugly truths? Who can you trust with these truths? Who are your true friends that have a heart of Jesus, and will love and accept you in the midst of pain, confusion, and chaos in your life? I pray you know them, find them, and become them in your own life.
