In May of 2022 a California church was conned out of $2.7 million in cash by the Lottery.com founders. The money was wired to Lottery.com (Nasdaq LTRY) on May 2, 2022 under the auspice of it being a 7-day loan. Was the money used in the Lotto Texas April 2023 lottery crime? Was it sent to the IRS? An egregious theft reportedly under FBI investigation.
