In a dynamic and inspiring interview on Fox26's "Isiah Factor Uncensored," renowned radio personality Madd Hatta sat down with the show's host, Isiah Carey, to announce the launch of the 'I Am The Dream' scholarship contest.  The contest is aimed at providing financial support and recognition to students with a passion for creative expression and a commitment to the values espoused by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The 'I Am The Dream' scholarship contest is open to both full-time and part-time students from the School of Communications at Texas Southern University. The initiative offers an incredible opportunity for ten selected students to receive a $1,000 scholarship. The contest encourages participants to showcase their creativity and individuality by creating a 60-second Instagram video that captures their personal interpretation of living "The Dream" as envisioned by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The videos are expected to be a reflection of the values, principles, and ideals that he championed.  Madd Hatta, the iconic radio host and founder of Madd Hatta Cares Inc Foundation, expressed his excitement during the interview about the potential impact of the scholarship contest. This contest is not just about financial assistance; it's about encouraging young minds to reflect on the essence of Dr. King's teachings and how they can manifest those principles in their lives today." The submission deadline is set for September 11, 2023. A panel of judges will then evaluate the submissions and select ten outstanding entries that best embody the spirit of Dr. King's vision.
