We all know people (who according to us), may not have gone through (what the world would deem) tough things… yet; and still they are filled with fear and despair. On the other hand, there are those that I’ve met who have gone through excruciating situations and somehow they appear to be free and unharmed on the inside; which overflows to the outside. What has made the difference? And is there such a shield that we can be protected by as well? Let’s take a look at the scriptures and glean from a story that is still helpful and applicable to our current day situations.
