Ciara's health took a turn in the late stages of pregnancy and Luca was born via an emergency C-Section at 38 weeks 6 days. The complications the Ciara experienced were due to a placenta abruption, which caused Luca to be born with severe HIE. Ciara also was in critical condition and wasn't awake for the birth of baby Luca. Episode 13 starts at the beginning of this Irish family's story.
