The text critiques the idolization of human ideas and identities, proposing that a true republic can only be realized through the application of Scripture, according to the doctrine of Sola Scriptura. Specifically, “Sola Scriptura” argues for the formation of a Theological Republic, not a theocracy, founded on the Bible which was given to Christians to be our constitution.
