It is not possible to understand the nature of humankind if we do not understand the natural division that exists in the species. Mankind is not one race but two. As with so much attached to our species we managed to hide the truth under an absurdity. It is impossible to define what makes us human by looking at the body of man, but people want to create races out of a few minor genetic differences. Even if the genetic differences were fundamental and even if the races were the equivalent of species, would it matter if we all shared the same culture? Nobody really worries about skin tones but that does not mean there is not an even deeper difference separating us.
