Hell cannot be explained as a physical place. This might be because hell does not exist, or it might because God Created everything by His Word. If we make the assumption that God Exists then, from the particulars of His existence, it is not difficult to deduce that He creates as we create, being made in His image. If this all holds true then hell is conceptual, not a thing of substance in the way we imagine physical things to be. The question then becomes, not where is hell but what ideas cohere with the Gestalt that is hell, conceptually. Hell cannot be a nice place according to the imagery of hell. It cannot be part of the kingdom of God nor share any of the features that are contained in the opposite of hell, which is heaven. So, if we assume God Exists and His existence gives rise to a condition separate from God, what would the elements of such a place be?
