The Iowa State women's basketball team suffered a tough overtime loss to No. 11 Kansas State on January 30, 2025. Despite a valiant effort and a late-game surge to force overtime, the Cyclones couldn't overcome the Wildcats on their home court.   The game was a closely contested battle throughout, with both teams trading baskets and momentum swings. Iowa State's Audi Crooks delivered a dominant performance, scoring 28 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for a double-double. Addy Brown also contributed significantly with 20 points and 8 assists.   However, Kansas State's balanced attack and strong play in overtime proved to be the difference. The Wildcats were led by Serena Sundell's 23 points and 8 assists, along with contributions from Taryn Sides and Jaelyn Glenn.   Despite the loss, the Cyclones showcased their resilience and offensive firepower, hitting 12 three-pointers in the game.
