Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle fire just before 6:45 AM on Wednesday, where they found a white Dodge van fully engulfed in flames. After firefighters extinguished the blaze, responders discovered 44-year-old Robert Welch of Bozeman deceased inside the vehicle. Bakken has been charged with deliberate homicide and arson.
