Today we are joined by founder and guitarist of the L E G E N D A R Y Dallas nü-metal band Drowning Pool: CJ Pierce. 
Since bursting onto the scene with the 2001 LP “Sinner” featuring the hit single “Bodies,” the Drowning Pool story is one full of successes and setbacks– including the death of their original lead singer, Dave Williams, performing as a headlining act at Ozzfest, record label turmoil, and building lifelong friendships through music. 
On Episode 16 of “Load-In Through the Back,” Troy and Pauly chat with CJ about the new single, “Revolution (the Final Amen),” his iconic guitar tone, reuniting with singer Ryan McCombs, the band’s friendship with Dimebag Darrell, two decades of radio and licensing hits, the creative process, and more.
