Today, most people are devoted to some kind of religion, paganism, moral relativism, agnosticism, atheism, Judaism, Eastern, and Western Religions, and even what seems like Old Time Christian Religion. None of these religions have the ability to save mankind from spiritual and physical death.

Religion is defined as the belief in and worship of some kind of superhuman powers of a God or gods.

Mankind, since the beginning of Creation, has been conditioned to know there is something beyond human knowledge regarding the eternal state of existence. As a result, humans try to find a way to eliminate guilt from living in dark and evil ways. Religion seems to temporarily give us a sense of being good versus being evil. However, religion can’t take away our sins, nor can it forgive us of all of our mistakes. Romans addresses the issue of dead religion and its inability to transform a life. Paul teaches that only a new heart can connect with God and spiritual reality, the removal of guilt, the forgiveness of sin, and the answer to living eternally beyond this present world. This reality can only be communicated through a Person, Jesus, through The Gospel of Jesus Christ. No religion can do what only Jesus can do, save us from the power of sin and give us a brand new heart related to God.
