Listen "What Wisdom Does In Us - part 1"
Episode Synopsis
In my last podcast I suggested that the primary reason for asking for wisdom is so that we can effectively cowork with God in winning him more friends.
So how do we know when our prayer is being answered? We don’t have to guess. The apostle James writes about it in James 3:13 —
“Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct he should show his works done in the gentleness that wisdom brings.” James 3:13 (NET)
Hence, the more people walk in God’s wisdom, the more gentle they are.
The apostle Paul writes, “Let your gentleness be evident to all people.” (Philippians 4:5)
Conversely, no one is coworking with God while being harsh, gruff, callous.
Ephesians 5:15-16 (NET) “… consider carefully how you live — not as unwise but as wise, taking advantage of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”
