Psalms 36:7-9 (NIV) 7 “How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
8 They feast on the abundance of your house;
you give them drink from your river of delights.
9 For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light.”
It seems to all come down to this: to see all reality — our God, ourselves, others, the scriptures, everything that comes to our attention, all that has happened or will happen to us or around us through the eyes of Jesus Christ.  To that extent we will be living in the truth and consequently in perfect freedom, full of peace and joy and spontaneously, selflessly helpful.  “In your light we see light.”
