Here are four questions I asked myself today that I’d like to keep challenging myself with. Let me pass them on to you. Here they are:

Do I really have anything better to think about than Jesus — his friendship and presence with me?

What else could be so worthy of my attention?

Do I really have anything better to do than to listen for his guidance and act on it?

What could be wiser than that?

Do I really have a better place to put my problems and regrets than in the hands of Jesus for him to resolve or redeem?

In what better place could I put them?

And all the while, do I really have anything better to occupy my heart with then worshipping him, praising him, rejoicing in him, giving him thanks, and showering his blessings on everyone who comes to my attention?

What else could be so worthy of constant practice?
