It is not about trying to measure up to some impossible standard set by God or man. It's simply the laying down of your pride and self-direction, confessing your sin and opening your heart and welcoming the love and forgiveness of Jesus to heal and transform you.  When our identity is securely rooted in Christ's love and acceptance, we are secure. We are filled up. Our hearts are hole. We have purpose and significance in Him. We are free to live and love from wholeness, instead of need.
