Listen "Counting Crows"
Episode Synopsis
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=litguru/yvaashoe I came across this murder of crows doing their noisy things up on the branches. This is a well trafficked area by humans, but these crows did not mind. They happily frolicked on the branches, as they're wont to do during several times of the year. What is this behaviour about? I think that in part it has to do with the temperature. As the temperature drops, the coastal areas are the place to be because of the warm energetic weather systems blowing from the south Pacific. Personally, as a primate, I find it too cold, but birds seem to think otherwise, and during the cold seasons, they congregate along the warmer shores.
This particular crow in the photo was not part of that group, but instead, I found him solitary among the branches in another part of the city.
