For our second Pride Month read, we’re discussing So This Is Ever After by F.T. Lukens. The evil ruler of the Kingdom of Ere was dethroned and killed by Arek, as was prophesied. Now what? Arek really just wants to confess his love for his best friend Matt, but agrees to take on the role as interim king of Ere until the heir to throne can be found. However, Arek and his friends must pivot their plans when they discover the heir is dead. Not only is Arek bound to his role as king, but he must also find someone to soul bond with him in the next three months, or he will die.
