On this episode of “Listen While You Wait,” Michael Gargiulo explores the MTA by taking a look at New York City’s subway system and the Long Island Rail Road. He is joined by Nick Sifuentes, the deputy director of The Riders Alliance, a New York transit commuter advocacy group. Gargiulo also talks with Andrew Albert, the chairman of the of the Permanent Citizens Advisory Committee to the MTA, a group that makes recommendations to the MTA about how to improve the New York transit system. Finally, Roni Jenkins, an LIRR commuter, shares her experience using the subways and LIRR during the “Summer of Hell.”
