In Mark 13 Jesus is asked a question by some of his disciples. How will they know when the time will come for the temple to be destroyed? Jesus gives a long response which can be hard to understand today. Which of the things Jesus talks about have already happened? Is there more still to come, and what about this response should shape how we live as Christians while we await Jesus’ return now? In this talk we’ll work our way through Mark 13 and try to get an understanding, drawing on Old Testament prophecy that Jesus alludes to about just exactly what Jesus is talking about in this chapter and just what we need to do as disciples today.
