If those results sound alarming, then you’ll understand why Paul was so concerned for the Christians in Colosse. He wanted them to be fully aware of counterfeit Christianity in their midst, offering supplement rituals and regulations which were falsely held as being necessary in addition to Christ, and the danger this presented. But it's not just a warning. Paul presents us with wonderful reassurance and even prescribes what we can do about it.
