Bio:
Rick Casey is the Agency Director and owner of Caring Senior Service of Houston, along with his wife Kathy. Caring Senior Service has been providing in-home care to seniors in Texas since 1991 and serving the Houston area since 2001. Rick extends his community involvement by providing solutions to seniors that want to age in place. Many of these seniors, along with their families, are on the journey dealing with dementia, and many times the call for help is prompted when a loved one has fallen or is in the hospital pending discharge. Rick and his team have assisted thousands of families and their loved ones to be Healthy, Happy, and at Home. Rick is active with the Alzheimer’s Association as a volunteer, extending his support through corporate sponsorship, fundraising for walk events, and joining the speaker’s bureau. As a community educator for the Alzheimer’s Association Rick is helping get the word out about support and research for those living with Alzheimer’s, as well as training first responders. In addition to the daily interface with seniors and their families, Rick is active in advancing senior care issues through membership in local, state, and national organizations. Rick gives back to his local community through involvement in church ministries, as well as with Interfaith Care Partners and Interfaith of The Woodlands Senior Programs.
