She is a tech policy and governance expert with vast experience working in various sectors, including academia, government, and NGOs. She is the founder and CEO of PIT Policy Lab, which focuses on agile policymaking and public interest technology. Cristina has also served as AI for Good Lab Director at C Minds, where she worked on AI ethics, policy prototyping, and ecosystem boosting. She has co-authored several reports and white papers, including "Leveraging the Power of Artificial Intelligence for the Borderplex Region" commissioned by Microsoft. Cristina has also worked with the World Bank Group as a consultant and as Federal Government Liaison for Pan American Games Guadalajara 2011. She holds a master's degree in International Relations from ITAM and is a member of the Global Shapers Community.
