Send us a text My name is Zen Ase and I’m a best selling author, performer and globally ranked podcaster. I began journaling as a kid and have been hooked on writing ever since, but life has a way of derailing our passions. My family didn’t support my career as a writer, so I became and award winner teacher and got married. I stopped writing for 17 years. In 2014, I went through a divorce and decided to reclaim my dreams. I started writing again and performing poetry. I’ve written 5 books, four of them Amazon best sellers, and been published in dozens of magazines. I’ve performed over 100 times and organized dozens of cultural events. My work in the community gained me a Congressional Award for activism.
