Valentine’s Day is upon us and this weekend you are welcome to start celebrating.  The Eastman Nature Center at Elm Creek Park Reserve invites those who are 3 or older to the Family Valentine Adventure on Saturday February 10 at 10 am or 2 pm.  It’s $6/person and you need to register for the event.
It’s SuperBowl Sunday.  And if you are anything like me, you are looking for an easy dinner.  Yarusso Brothers Italian Restaurant for the Win (no matter WHO wins the Super Bowl, YOU win Super Bowl Sunday).  Kids eat free on Sundays off the kids menu and it includes a drink.  Personally, I love their meatballs  They are as big as your fist.  We have other options on our Kids Eat Free and Cheap article. 
It is the season of the Lunar New Year or as many people call it here in the US, Chinese New Year.  But let me tell you, this holiday is celebrated around all of Asia!  Midtown Global Market is holding a big celebration on Saturday, Feb 10 (the actual day that the lunar new year kicks off) from noon-3 pm.  It’s FREE.  There will be dancing and martial arts, crafts and food.  And did I mention it was FREE?  Because it is.
