Get to know your host! Meet Emily! In this episode, Emily shares on her integrative philosophy as it relates to her own health and the health of others. She explores her relationship with nutrition, movement, sleep, her mental health, and more as she gets real about her journey over the past several years, from childhood to adulthood. Emily discusses her personal health struggle with hormonal, cystic acne and other symptoms that were, as she later learned, a manifestation of underlying discussion. Emily illustrates the mind body connection in a multitude of ways, based on her own experience, and empowers you to reflect on your own health journey to identify it amidst your personal circumstances. Join Emily as she discusses transparency, her own health struggles, both physically and mentally, and lessons she learned along the way.
Emily is a Certified Holistic Health Coach and a Certified Dietary Supplement Professional with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Emily is also working towards completing her Functional Nutrition Certification through MindBody Green. Emily owns and operates Whole with Emily LLC, wherein she works with clients one on one within the space of holistic wellness, to support optimal physical and mental health. She believes that true health and feeling better means examining the intersection between physical and mental health and look at one's experience through this lens. Integration of nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management and self care, gut health, mindset and more is the formula for a better quality life. Emily marries mindset with behavioral change in order to create the ultimate mind body connection and promote sustained change and a healthful balance within her work with clients.
