Why are there so many socket and plug shapes in the world? Less is better! It’s always a headache every time I travel internationally. China’s is different from Japan’s, Japan is different from Korea, and Japan and the United States are similar but have some differences. As a side note, although it is not mentioned in the video, the British plugs are large and bulk, which makes it difficult to carry around and looks ugly. China’s sockets are really unique. Plugs from all over the world can be plugged in. No adapters are needed.
