Among all the issues our educational system suffers, one of them is the lack of support that students with special needs receive. What kind of unfair situations do they live? Why does this happen? What can teachers do to help these students? What specific strategies and solutions can we implement to accomplish this? All these questions will be addressed in this first episode, in which we will interview Nieves Prieto Durán. She is a high school teacher in Spain who is experienced in this topic. The main goal of this episode is to raise awareness on how important it is for teachers and other educational professionals to support exceptional learners and end the stigmatization they usually suffer in class.
